Beta terms

Who these terms are for

Tasky is in beta. These terms apply to everyone who uses it while the beta runs: every account accepts them once, and the section on AI below also applies to drafts made without an account.

What you get

Everything in Tasky, free of charge, for as long as the beta runs. The Free plan's limits are shown in the app but not applied. The beta has no fixed end date yet; when one is set, it is shown in the app under your account menu and announced in advance.

How your text is processed by AI

Tasky's AI reads what you give it: the text you paste to draw a board, the messages you write in the chat, and the files you attach for it to read. During the beta this processing runs on AI models provided by OpenAI, under a data-sharing arrangement: in exchange for free use of the models, the text sent to them may be used by OpenAI to improve its models.

Please don't give Tasky anything you are not allowed to share with a third party that way — for example other people's personal data without a legal basis, or confidential material.

What "beta" means

The software is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break or be removed; interruptions can happen; while we work with care, we cannot guarantee the continuity or integrity of stored data during the beta. Please keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

What we ask in return

Honest use and honest feedback: tell us what breaks and what feels wrong. That is the whole price of the beta.

How the templates learn

When you customise a template, we learn anonymised, general patterns from the changes — never your names, dates or details — so the templates get better for everyone. The raw text of a customisation is kept only until those patterns are extracted, then deleted on a fixed schedule.

Payments, refunds and disputes

You may choose to support the beta financially. Support is voluntary and grants no additional features or privileges — a supporter has exactly the same access as any beta tester.

Support payments are processed by Stripe. If you change your mind, we refund any support payment on request within 14 days of the payment — just write to support@tasky.com from the email address you paid with. The same address handles any billing question or dispute; we aim to answer within 3 business days. There are no recurring charges during the beta, so there is nothing that needs cancelling.

After the beta

When the beta ends, the Free plan's limits apply and the paid plans become available. Nothing is deleted: boards beyond the Free limits stay yours — you can still view, edit and share them. We announce the end with reasonable notice, and when the terms change in substance we ask you to accept the new version.
